M2SYS Technologies has announced its next #biometricchat, set to take place in just over two weeks on April 25, 2013. This month’s chat will feature Zack Martin, Editor and Avisian.

According to its website, Avisian is a “group of identity technology experts working alongside seasoned journalists, web and graphics professionals and event coordinators.” Using its collective expertise, Avisian offers consulting, publishing and most recently, event services for the ID community.

According to M2SYS, throughout the course of the chat, several topics will be discussed with Zack, most notably the prospects for growth in the global biometrics industry, obstacles to continued growth, industry consolidation, mobile biometrics for authentication and identification, biometrics for retail payments and new biometric modalities and how soon we may see them in mainstream use.

April’s #biometricchat is set to take place on April 25, at 11 a.m. EST.

For those new to the format, M2SYS has posted instructions for participating in this month’s #biometricchat.

Questions for Martin can be emailed to marketing@m2sys.com, and M2SYS will try to include them in the chat. The full list of questions will be posted on the M2SYS blog early next week.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, M2SYS held its March #biometricchat on biometric ID for border control, ePassports and voter registration.
